Farms Seasons
• November to January: coffee harvest and processing
• March to September: tea harvest and processing
• April to June: quetzal nesting
• November to January: fruit in trees near observation tower of quetzals
• May to October: rainy season

Local Guides
One local guide (not bilingual) is included in the price and must accompany all groups. An additional local guide is available for specialized tours of coffee, tea and macadamia plantations. Please contact us for the rates.

Box Lunch
If desired, breakfast and/or lunch can be prepared in “box” style (the price is the same).

Transportation
From the asphalt road to the Reserve (service provided by the Workers Solidarity Association of Los Andes). Travel is in the back of a pickup (maximum 5 persons).  Please contact us for the rates.

Rooms
  Suggested groups of 10 to 15 people.
Oliver House at Los Andes offers the following lodging accommodations:
  • 1 double with private bath (two twin beds)
• 1 double with shared bath (two twin beds)
• 1 triple with shared bath (three twin beds)
• 1 “family” room with private bath (1 king, 2 twin beds, 1 sofa bed)
• 3 rustic rooms for guides and/or drivers
• one bungalow with 3 bunks for guides and/or drivers
   

Most bathrooms have a shower with hot water. All water comes from the farm’s springs and can be drunk directly from the tap.
